This is Janey helping me cook for Christmas Eve dinner with Joe's family. We had a great time and thanks to this dinner people actually got to see the Christmas decorations I put up.
Christmas day blowing bubbles with grandma and Kimber.
It was a beautiful day as evidenced by Kimber's shorts.
Opening gifts. Janey wasn't as into the tearing things open as we thought she would be, but she was all for the toys after they were open.
Christmas Fairy.
Playing with her gifts from mom and dad and grandma and grandpa. We got the table at the thrift store for $3 and repainted it. It fits perfectly in the kitchen and Janey loves it.
Helping take down the Christmas tree decorations.
Visiting the Rose Garden at Balboa Park.
The park a couple days ago. This tractor is her favorite.
Christmas was great to us this year. We got to spend a lot of time with each other and most of the rest of our families ... which we love doing. The only downside to the last couple weeks was our car breaking down Christmas night and costing $800 to fix. But, even that wasn't that bad. We broke down close to my parents' house, so my dad came to the rescue with his AAA card and my brother, Sean, just so happened to be going to his friend's house right at that moment who just so happens to live right next to our house. How lucky are we?We are looking forward to the new year and all it brings. We wish you all a great new year and all the best.
