Janey's Guide to Being a Working Girl

Sometimes it's just not that easy to get up and ready in the morning for work. No makeup, just throw your clothes on, put your hair in a pony tail and get out the door. In this day and age you've got to keep a stiff upper lip.


The next thing you need is reliable transportation.


The workday can become a real grind, especially if you're particular job requires you to be in out in the heat. It really helps to have a friend in the workplace.


You should also regularly check your equipment to make sure its up to spec. Yep, these need to be replaced.


Its also nice to get paid at the end of the day, day labor has its perks.


And finally, after the long day, nothing beats a nutritious dinner with Dad.

I forgot that it was my day to update the blog and I'm tired and ready for bed, so no cute stories tonight, just pictures. Here is Janey stalking the pigeons at Sea World. I don't know why she's crawling. At the beach with my fam.

Huge Thank You

Thank you so much to all those who helped us move. It was a lot of hard work and you are all much appreciated. I couldn't imagine having to do it by ourselves.
Here is a picture of Joe's school. Janey and I took a walk yesterday, so this is a view about 2 blocks away. We have a view of the school from our place, but this one is much better. We are currently trying to fit all of our stuff into a home that seemed so much bigger before we moved in.
While we were moving, Janey spent the day with Becky and Samara. They learned how to play Ring Around the Rosie and loved it. Becky said later in the day she caught them holding hands and turning in circles by themselves in the other room. They haven't quite got the hang of falling down yet.Here is Janey thieving my ice cream on an ridiculously hot day.And this morning Janey found my shirt and wanted me to put it on her. Then later when I was putting clothes away, she wanted me to help her into several of my other shirts. Ah, the beginnings of dress up. She really cracks me up.

Busy Moving

So Tired

I have never been so busy in my life. I do, however, have some great news to report: Joe started USD Law School today and we are moving down to San Diego on the 29th of this month.
