Wow! Halloween was so much fun this year. It must be the whole having a kid thing for whom the holiday was made.
I carved this one (its supposed to be a skeleton ... bad angle, promise). Janey actually enjoyed the messy process, but got bored after the half hour it took to clean it out (so big).
At work we have some people we go visit everyday to give them their mail and they gave this cute little pail full of yummy candy to Janey. She loved the pail and walked around the rest of the day holding it like this ... I loved the candy.
I couldn't resist posting these pictures of Janey trying on her costume, they are just so cute.
Halloween night was spent at the Ward Trunk or Treat party. It was a super fun night with a whole carnival and dinner. The couple that put it on got called 6 days beforehand to be activity's chair and did a marvelous job. I do not envy them.

Can't wait for next year.

And snow
And cars

Her bear (which she tossed out of the stroller this morning without me knowing so it is now lost forever)
Birds
"Helping"
Fish (all animals really). This picture is at the manatee exhibit at Sea World where we weighed Janey on the manatee scale (at 23 lbs she does not weigh as much as a manatee).
Samara
She does not love people dressed as fish, but my mom and I loved her and Kimber's reactions
And Janey loves bags/purses.
She loves most of all doggies/puppies, which she calls everything. Whenever we see one we have to stop and say hi. I haven't gotten and pictures of her with the dogs because I'm spending my energy making sure one of these strange dogs doesn't decide to make her hand a doggie treat. Don't worry, we ask all the owners for permission first.
I was at my wits end at work today. I was about ready to throw up my hands and quit. Then Janey got into my drawer and got out a full box of paper clips and dumped them out. I sighed and almost started cleaning up, but figured she already made the mess, I might as well let her play with them. I didn't hear a peep for the next 45 minutes. Who knew paper clips could be so much fun. After that I let her take anything she wanted out of the drawer. She proceeded to empty a post it dispenser and all the pens, clips and junk out of the drawer for another half hour of peace. I will gladly clean up that mess for an hour of quiet, actual work.

Got rescued by Curtis and Stephanie.
Went to Bates Nut Farm and went on a hay ride.
Got sequestered in a pumpkin playpen (Curtis escaped).
Got tired and hijacked Curtis's stroller.
Went to Sea World with family and friends.
Janey and I went to Sea World at about 4:00 today since we had been stuck indoors all day ... needed to get some energy out. So, I threw the monkey on her back (greatest invention ever) and let her lead me through the park. We spent a lot of time looking at this octopus that was dispensing bubbles.
Then we went trick or treating to these stations that were giving all sorts of good loot. Janey mostly liked the blowup containers that held all the loot.
Sea World put in new glass walls to view the dolphins swimming. It was very cool being able to see them under the water, so we spent a good portion of our time here.
Then the rest of the time was spent climbing on various objects, picking flowers, following other children around and snacking on the goodies we got. All in all it was good fun and interesting exploring Sea World from Janey's point of view.
